PDF viewer's an important package in a distribution because many e-books takes PDF format. I've ever used X-PDF, adobe reader for linux, and evince as my pdf viewer. From these three, I'd like suggesting you to use evince. Why ?. Because its performance's better than X-PDF (There was lag when scroling it down) and of course its size's smaller than adobe reader for linux.
